Greta armchair

The Greta armchair is a contemporary seating piece distinguished by upholstered armrests and a sculptural, enveloping form. Its defining feature is the separation between the seat and the wrap-around cushion, which seamlessly connects the backrest to the armrests. This hollow structure allows for an exceptionally generous cushion, enhanced by four refined stitches that create a soft, elegant capitonné effect.

The floating backrest is designed for comfort as well as visual lightness. Shaped as a curved, contoured cylinder, it embraces the back and flows naturally into the upholstered armrests, offering a welcoming and supportive seating experience.

Greta plays with contrasts between softness and structure, combining plush upholstery with a slender metal base. Solid and empty volumes, cosy surfaces and sharp contours coexist in a balanced composition. The three slim legs are crafted from metal tubes with an elliptical cross-section, finished in textured varnish and available in a range of sophisticated shades that complement the extensive fabric and leather selection.

At the rear, the central leg is composed of two closely positioned supports, creating a single visual point of contact with the floor. The vertical void between the backrest and seat reinforces the dialogue between solidity and lightness, resulting in a cohesive, airy design.
